Day 15: Fall

The prompt for day 15 was to write a pantun, which “consists of rhymed quatrains (abab), with 8-12 syllables per line. The first two lines of each quatrain aren’t meant to have a formal, logical link to the second two lines, although the two halves of each quatrain are supposed to have an imaginative or imagistic connection. ” I had a bit of trouble with this one, especially with the link between the two sets of lines, and I’m still not sure whether it works…

Fall

Red complimenting green- fighting the white on blue-
brighten the stark canvas with bursts of color.
Falling into the nothingness of cerulean truth,
eliminate all doubt and every fear.
